G note3 fm transmitter help

Hi all, I purchased a Bluetooth fm modulator for my car as it does not have Bluetooth as standard, I have it paired with the phone ok, my problem is that it keeps dropping the signal between the car stereo and the fm modulator, I get music or phone call for about 5secs then the stereo just seems to drop the connection, can anyone help? Driving me nuts literary
