Just looking through some of the stuff on my note 3 and there is a load of rubbish on it. My Note isnt locked to any network but still has a lot of thingd going on.
So,what has everyone done with regards to disabling apps and what is safe to disable?

Mine for a long time. A bit of overkill for some.
I can do without 'Google +' except that you now cannot review apps in Play Store without it.

This is what I have so far. I was wondering what else I could disable?

If you are NOT ROOTED, you can disable whatever you want. You will not have privileges to disable anything that will hurt the system in any way.

Jeez, how I wish the 3rd Party apps were 'user choice' from either Play or Samsung Store - so much wasted space and so like the flotsam once included in new PCs, except those you could delete and not just hide.

Shouldn't need to get all geeky and have to root to enable a clean Google or Samsung experience. That sort of nonsense is just too 1990s.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you there Mike. I disabled the Amazon App Suite (which it allowed me to do) and it put me in an error loop that ultimately required a factory reset. That said, I'd be very cautious about giving anyone that kind of advice. Just saying....

You were not rooted, disabled Amazon and it caused a boot loop??? You sure about that?

Ya, highly unlikely. It's not a native app, and there are no OS dependencies on it either...

OP I noticed you have Dropbox and Samsung Apps disabled.

I am very anti cloud storage and using data to get to your own files.

However I have to take my hat off to Dropbox. After a recent factory reset it saved very little but they were the bits I would have lost.
It's very unobtrusive, I am always logged in on my Note 3, pc and S2, and it only collects what I want it to, when I want it to. I have also recently started to take screenshots from my pc monitor which automatically goes to Dropbox and I can view on my Note 3. Anything I want to save I click Share - Dropbox.

Samsung apps I can take or leave. I only have master Sync on occasionally and the few updates are OK. Had no updates from there for a while now.
