I'm on the original Jump plan with T-mobile and I've been eligible to jump for a few weeks now. Would the S5 be a step down?

Not really a step down but more of a side step. I would wait and see what the Note 4 brings, or the Z3. Nothing that came out so far this yeah has been that big a leap up....

Yes, it would be a step down from the Note 3.

Ha Ha. I love your brand loyalty again. Yes that could be a good phone if they upgrade the Flex to what it should have been.

Don't worry. Not everyone will want a phone that will be as big as the Note 4 will likely be. I love big phones but not everyone does.

I've not bothered to read anything about it but does it do anyhing of significance that the flagships don't do?

The Note 3 is a great phone...but so is the G2. I hope you'll be able to keep/use both.

I haven't looked into the specs but there is a multiple camera feature they showed on the news here that produces 3D-like photos. I have no interest in an amazon phone myself.
