    Is an SD card *required* for the Note 3 to operate efficiently or reliably?

    Mine just crapped out, and now that I back up my data /pix in cloud, I am not sure whether the SD card is even a necessity?

    Any phone will run more efficiently and reliably without an SD Card. So, if you don't feel that you need one, that's a good thing,
