Why aren't my tasks feature working on my Galaxy Note 3?

Tasks feature not working on Galaxy Note 3

wondering if anyone else has experienced this and has a solution to repair?
I can enter a task from the task menu of the calendar app but it does not show up after creating? I have tried to create tasks via the native app and thru action memo and it will allow me to enter the information into the TASKS format but once I save it does not show up anywhere in my calendar info.
Any suggestions or solution would be appreciated as I have done searches with no results.
P.S. I have gone into app manager and cleared caches

Did you make sure you have the box checked for it to show up - in the calendar app, Menu, then Calendars.
