Why can't I play videos I recorded on my Galaxy note 3?

A few months ago, I recorded a thirteen minute video of a performance. It was saved on my phone's SD card. Today, when I tried to play it, the video played for about thirty seconds and then I received an error message saying the video cannot played. This happens regardless of which app I try to open the video in - it'll play for a few seconds and then stop. I need the video for a reference, and soon, and this error is very frustrating to say the least. Is the video corrupted somehow, and if it is can it be retrieved? Or is there simply a problem with the media player on my phone?

Try transferring it to your computer and seeing if it plays in any of your PC (or Mac) media players.

I have the same problem!! I have a note 3 too.. and I need the video.. do you fixed this problem?
