Note 3 Lagging and no volume - How to tell if software or hardware
Hi there,
I have had my Note 3 since September last year and she has never failed me. A few days ago the volume (ringing/music) just went dead. I looked up that this occurs at times and I plugged in an earphone jack and put it in and out a few times and all was good. Last night I had MAJOR issues with my phone lagging, no sound and telling me certain programs failed to launch do I want to wait or stop the program.
I tried a factory reset and there is no difference, the delay and lagging is terrible. I then cleared the cache, done another couple of factory resets but to no avail. I have never rooted my phone so I am wondering how I could tell if it is software, virus or hardware as I really loved this phone and want to look at all avenues before i have to give up and buy another. I'm not real tech savvy, so I'm not sure if I can do anything else or give it up.
