Eh... done that, neither Vodafone or Samsung will tell me when the Lollipop update will be released, I'd like the latest Android OS but I don't fancy putting on a pirate version. Does anyone from Vodafone or Samsung know when the official version of Lollipop will be available for the Galaxy Note 3.

I had been checking Sammobile a long time for my unlocked ex Amazon UK Note 3. I just sold it, but it's been out for Three and Vodafone UK for a while.
You can check if you have the official Vodafone version.

I do. But both Vodafone and Samsung have said neither are responsible for delivering the software update for Lollipop to my phone. Despite the fact it's a contract with Vodafone.

This is all I know. I am just a member here and don't know anyone with a Vodafone version.

added : this normally lets you know if it has been officially released for OTA or Kies/Smart Switch.

I don't think there is anyone here good enough to help you further. You could compare your CSC code in *#1234# with a Vodafone and unlocked (still on 4.4) version on Sammobile, but I think you can figure that yourself. Good luck.

On Edit : if you paid through Carphone Warehouse they would probably have given you an unlocked device. Even networks sometimes do that when short of stock.
