remove residual files if there are any after hard resetting?

hi, i am planning to sell my samsung note 3. i have already hard rest my phone. since i had a lot of personal info and other files on my phone i am a bit worried if they can be retrieved. is there any way to permanently remove literally all my files if in case there are any residuals? please help

There are apps that are supposed to do that such as Secure Erase with iShredder. They essentially work by overwriting everything at a bit level. As an alternative, encrypt your device which also makes the data unreadable without the encrypt key.
