How can I transfer files from my Note 3 without using the screen?

A

AC Question

Bit of an odd question I know. I was recently in a motorcycle accident and somehow managed to damage my phone screen from the inside. The screen doesn't work at all, I can tell the phone responds because the buttons at the bottom (not on the screen) sometimes light up. But the screen itself is black and unresponsive.

I have a few photos on there that I want to transfer, but I'm not sure how I'm supposed to do it without a working screen? I've tried connecting it to a computer, but it doesn't display any files.

I've bought a new phone, and the cost to repair this note 3 isn't particularly worth it anyway. So, if I'm able to rip it apart to somehow access the internal memory, I'm willing to do that. Unfortunately, I don't have a micro sd card in the phone, so removing that isn't an option.

Does anybody have any other ideas on how I can get these files off of my phone? Or is the only way to get it repaired?
