Had the Samsung case for almost the past month. Just got the Verus Thor case today. The Verus is much wider than the Samsung case. Gonna have to use the Verus for a week to see which I like better. Already leaning towards the Samsung just because it feels like it belongs on the Note 4.

I wish I could buy the Samsung case on their site or else I would be a proud owner.

I wish I had one of the Sammy cases as well..mainly because I always like to have at least one cover/case from the phone manufacturer as the fit is almost always the best and the port openings the most dependable.

That said, nothing has felt as secure in the hand as the Note 4 Verus Thor for me. Most of my drop incidents are directly out of the hand. So that sort of security plus protection is important to me. I think the combination of the hourglass shape plus the way the texturing wraps around the sides has a good deal to do with how secure it feels in the hand. The extra TPU material at the corners as much as anything accounts for its ample drop protection without being overtly thick or bulky.

In my experience, the downside of the hourglass shape is that it will not fit in mobile phone holders that require slide in/slide out as easily as a case that is uni-dimensional, like the Sammy. I have a slide in/slide out that works with my hourglass shaped Thor. However as I said, it might take a little work to get a vehicle phone holder that works for you.

I used the Thor case for almost two days before the Samsung case went back on. I like how the phone feels in the Samsung case compared to the Thor case. Probably going to return the Thor.

I'm hoping samsung will sell the red protective case on their site so I can use my 50% code for that. Love the blue one and would love to buy it in red (don't want to pay $30 on ebay for it).

Which case is easiest to take off? I have a caseology which offers great protection but when I went to take off the case it was so difficult to take off and I thought I was gonna break the phone. I'm asking because I'm looking into other phone case ideas.

The Thor is easier to remove, but I have no problems taking off the Samsung case.
