Now it seems that it will depend on how I buy it. If I upgrade my contract it will be white as my service provider doesn't have the gold exclusive. If I buy outright it will be gold.

Well I bought my note 3 outright which I still have . The contract I'm paying is for the iPhone 5S. I kind of want to get it from my service provider so that I can also get their insurance.

I like the white but it won't have the soft back of the black so now I'm torn. Also, I assumed it would be water proof and if the white got dirty I could just wash it off but now that's out the window too. I live in the tropics and black phones just get so hot here as black attracts heat, so another reason I wanted white. I really just don't know now. Damn these first world problems. Lol.
