Note 3 cases compatible with Note 4?

I have the Wireless Charging Battery Cover for my Note 3.

Will this also work with Note 4? So far none of the hands-on reviews have covered backwards compatibility with Note 3 accessories and covers.

The dimensions are slightly different for the two phones, so my guess would be no. Not to mention that the Note 4 has a speaker grill on the back, while the Note 3's is on the bottom of the phone.

Why would they? Since the Note 3 and Note 4 are NOT the same size and don't have the same casing, no size-specific accessory for the Note 3 will fit the Note 4 or vice-versa. That goes for covers, cases, screen protectors, etc. In your case, I might even be inclined to say that the charging pins are not in the same position in both Notes, so you have that to add to the list of incompatibilities.

Now, if you have a generic accessory that will fit onto 'most devices size whatever', then it might work between phones, but this kind of accessory is more common for tablets than for phones.

I was wondering the same thing but I'm guess no, they will not be compatible. Hope all the regular companies will make cases and extended batteries for the note 4 (otterbox, ,zerolemon, Anker, seidio, incipio etc)

Sucks. What am I gonna do with my 10+ mote 3 cases lol!

I thought it's compatibe, as I seen some websites like (Best Note 4 Case) listing the same case for both devices. However, when I checked the design, I think the power socket is the normal mini USB not as the same as Note 3.

They could have one for each respective device. It doesn't mean that it's the exact same case.

That site just looks like it took the Note 3 words and changed them for Note 4 without really changing the rest of the content. Wouldn't trust it as a reliable source haha. In any case (no pun intended), the links in there all point to a Note 3 accessory. Heck, they even go as far as saying that there are cases he's tried for the iPhone 6! Haha.

Some hands on reports are saying the Note 3 and Note 4 are the same size. But yes, going back to USB 2.0, having the different size back camera with UV monitor, and the new back speaker vent, apparently means a different cover.

While the Note 3 was available in October 2013, it took until February 2014 for the matching charging cover to become available. Hope the charging covers get into stock faster this release.

Also picked up an S-window case. Never really used it because it wouldn't work with the car cradle for GPS use when driving.
