Best Dock/Charger

What dock does everyone recommend for their Note 4? By dock, I mean a charging solution for the bedside table. I'm interested in the wireless charging capabilities too, but it doesn't look like Samsung has released any wireless charging backs yet (though I believe they intend to eventually). I'm not in need of anything that has speakers or any bells and whistles (though it's okay if it does have them). As long as it can sit on my nightstand and charge the phone, that's good enough for me! Thanks

The stock Samsung wireless charging pad works well. The Samsung has a large landing spot in comparison placing the phone anywhere within will still charge the phone. Fits the N3 with charging back just fine, expect it to fit the N4 as well.

In contrast, I found the Anker charging pad to be useless with the N3. The location of the N3 charging plate does not work for Anker, and it needed very fussy, to the millimeter, alignment. Just vibration from walking nearby would unalign the N3 and stop charging.

And it you're doing airflight or other travel that will keep you away from charging for long stretches, the cheero is small, simple, and does its job well for any cell phone.

Thanks! But we will need a special back for the N4 right? Just want to make sure I understand. So have to buy both the wireless charger and a separate back for the phone? Thanks for the comments re: Anker! Good to know!

Yes, you will need to buy a new back, and the metal plate will make the phone weigh several more grams than a non-charging back phone, while still quite reasonable.

For the N3 you had the choice (in black and white) of a charging back:

I did not like the S-view cover (made taking pictures fussy), other people are fans. If you do like it, you may want to add a magnet closure http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU3934907

It is very easy to peel off one cover and exchange it with another, swapping backs when you get bored of a look. Takes under 20 seconds. So when the cover prices drop in January, you may find yourself swapping between multiple covers just for the novelty of it all.
