Paranoid Android on Note 4

This may be a noob question, as my only other experience With android was on a nexus 4. but if I root and install a custom rom, like say paranoid android on the Note 4. Do I lose all s pen (stylus) functionality?

I believe that you would have to install a touchwiz based rom
