Will all Note 4 Tempered Glass Screen Protectors have this "Halo" effect?

I had the zagg tempered glass installed at BB. Has the halo effect as well. Going to take it back for a refund. Had tempered glass on my note 2. It just went to the edge of the screen as well. Worked perfectly for me.

I just installed Spartan tempered glass on my note 4. I really like how it looks and easy to install.

I purchased a zzybia tempered glass for the note 4. The screen protector doesn't fit. The company manufactured it with the openings for the home button and the speaker at the top to close together. It will only line up on one end cause both ends are closed with round openings. I am sending it back. I think I will wait for the Spigen to remanufacture like someone said in this post. Sounds like they know what's going on and plan on fixing it.

That's what mine looks like too. I hate it too but rather have something covering the screen until the Companies can figure out how to make the correct tempered glass screen protector. .

hi Double923, can you post some pics with the screen off?

I am having the halo issue with my Note 4 (Zagg Invisible tempered glass) and wanna see if you can see the halo with the screen off. On mine, the halo is noticeable with the screen off but when the screen is on, you cant see it.

Just an FYI. The Verizon wireless tempered glass protector (if that is indeed what they gave me) Does *not* halo around the edges and is cut to be case friendly. The edges are just barely lifting but I think it's due to how he installed it.

Right now I think we have 2 protectors available that do not leave a halo. Pictures of both have been posted on xda forums.

iloome Flexmate 8h protector
Tech 21 (not glass but highly protective according to manufacturer's website)

A picture of the revised Bear Motion protector was just posted on xda forums and it still has a halo.

Got the tempered glass that Verizon offered. Yes it does this so-called halo thing. I don't care. It's doing a great job. It protects my expensive phones screen.
For anyone to actually say that they would rather have a scratched up screen than to have this halo, is simply delusional. Not to mention asinine.. They obviously have more money than sense.

Carved in place by my Note 4.
