I've read some posts here regarding the extra $50.00 store credit / gift card when you purchase the Note 4. This is in conjunction with the $200.00 Trade in for a working smartphone.
I just preordered my Note 4 yesterday with Verizon and the Best Buy Rep rang me out for $50.00 and then proceeded to give me a $50.00 gift card. I asked why this is necessary and he told me it was solely for the purpose of securing my preorder. I then have the option of using that gift card towards the purchase of the Note 4 plus my $200.00 credit. In essence, I'm not getting an extra $50.00 because I already paid the $50.00 in cash.
Has anyone experienced this? If so, I think people are a little confused in thinking that it's extra on top of the $200.00
Thoughts?
