Verizon 4G LTE on the GN4 in San Francisco is a downgrade

I just upgraded to the Galaxy Note 4 from the Galaxy Note 2 and I just ran some Speed tests through Speedtest.net.

I've found that I get maybe 1-3 mb/s down, which is a downgrade from my usual 17 mb/s+ down speed on my Note 2. On the other hand, my upload speed has remained consistent from my usual 10-12 mb/s. Can anyone explain what is causing the downward spike in download speed?

Did you test the phones side by side on the same server with multiple tests?
