Samsung Galaxy Note 4: Hand writing text recognition in landscape?

Hi,
I'm considering buying the Note 4 and just played around with it in a store.
What I was not able to figure out was, if it is possible to have the " handwriting to text" feature working while I hold the phone in landscape.
Can someone who owns the phone confirm this?
I find it easier to hold the phone in landscape while writing.

I realize I asked my question a bit unspecific.
What I meant was: while I'm in S-Note app and write something there. Then there is the option to select a hand written text with the icon that looks like a cloud. From that we can transform the handwritten text to actual text.
Does this work in landscape?
