Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Verizon/Best Buy - Added 2 lines and got two 350.00 giftcards!!

I went to best buy mobile and got a note 4 in black. I traded in a 38.00 prepaid phone. After he rung it up he said wow, you get 200.0 and another 150.00. I was like UM OK? He said for activating a line you get an additional 150.00. I was like wow, so I bought another prepaid phone to trade in and got 2. I asked him if he could add the 200.00 giftcard I already had to the 700.00 and he did that so I walked out with a 900.00 giftcard!

The white one I got at verizon 2 days ago will be going back. If I have to pay the 35.00 restock fee...no big deal.

What a great day!!

That should be $700 in gift cards minus what you spent on the pre paid phones minus the Verizon fees for activation minus the monthly add on cost for the 2nd phone means you actually lost quite a bit of money..

I don't get why on earth you would do this..

If you return one or both you don't get to keep the gift cards.. I'm totally confused..

I needed 2 lines..mines and my wifes. I only paid for one prepaid phone. I get 100.0 bill credit for each of the lines from verizon. I got two 350.00 giftcards and they waived my activation fees so I actually think I made out pretty good. Oh, 35.00 restocking fee possible when I take the other white one back to verizon.

I dont see how I lost money...if I bought 2 notes with no promotions, I would not be losing any money, I bought 2 notes with giftcards....sounds like a win to me.

Oh okay now I got ya.. You were transferring from another carrier and that's why you added 2 new lines to get them credits..

Cool deal.. I stick with AT&T because of unlimited data and pay full price for all my phones so AT&T can't try and take that away..

I already had verizon. I was eligible for early upgrades. The verizon didnt even know about the extra 150.00 until it auto printed after he rung them up.
