Google Now: Crashing and Slow

Just started happening. I press my home button and nothing happened and then tried to launch google from the app drawer and the icon greyed out and then regained color and never opened. I restarted my Note 4 then. I tried to use ok google and it worked but took like 10 seconds and all my cards are gone. What can I do to fix this? I like using Google Now for reminders, commute info etc and would love a fix asap.

It's been crashing on me too...I constantly get the error unfortunately google search has stopped working.

Wonder if it's a software bug or if google is having backend problems? Frustrating because like I said I use it daily.

Just checked the app dashboard for Google and it seems that everything is up and running. Strange

I had issues with several Google apps over the past few days. 1. clear cache 2. clear data 3. reboot 4. do a factory reset

The factory reset was the only thing that worked for me, but I made sure to back up my data.

I'm having issues as well. I tried to check updates on my NFL teams & it was really laggy. Then I tried checking my stocks & it kept crashing. Its been really iffy for the past couple days.
