Creating photo albums

Hi,
Coming from the Iphone where you are able to create different photo albums with your photos, I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a way to create different photo albums on the Note? I have tried to find info on how to do it but cannot seem to find anything.

Are you using the Gallery app or the Photos app? if you using Gallery, you need to make sure you are viewing by Album rather than by Time. You should then see a "new folder" button at the top. If you're using the Photos app, just select a few photos and then tap the button that looks like a picture with a bookmark on it to create an album.

Hmmm, I am under the stock photo app and there isn't an option after I have selected the photo's that is a button that looks like a picture with a bookmark. Would maybe a screenshot of what I see help? Maybe I need to be in another spot or something?

You have to make a folder first. Go to the gallery, choose camera (or the location of the photos) them touch the icon at the top that looks like a file with the"+" in it.
Name the folder (album) and drag pics to it. It'll then be named as an album with those pics in it

Hmmm, I don't see that screen at all Katrina at least not where I am looking and trying to make the album at. Here is what I see when opening the basic stock photo app.
This is all the photos
This is what I see with the option that says Photos
This is what I see when the option with the three dots option in the right hand corner
This is what I see when I have a picture selected. The square with the things in the corners just make it bigger.
So, am I not in the right area for creating albums?

You want to create album using photos app like me but she is referring to gallery app.

I'm kind of confused. What is the difference between the gallery and the photos area? I want the gallery option lol so I can do what I need to do. Anyway, thanks for the feedback. Maybe someone else will have more feedback.

The gallery icon takes you to the photos on your device. The photos icon takes you to the Google+ Photos which is where your photos are automatically backed up to.

Thanks everyone! I did get it figured out. I was just in the Photos app and needed to be in the gallery to make the albums like I wanted.
