Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Cannot Write To SD Card (Operation Failed)

Hi All,

I've just replaced my SD card with a brand new sandisk 32gb card and it is detected by the system. My last SD Card worked a treat on KitKat (4.4.4) and was exactly the same sandisk. It works fine in my PC, but when i put it in the phone, I cannot move or copy any files to it using any file management app.

Has anyone come across this before & have any solutions thanks?

:)

I had issues with Sandisk in that phone, they were resolved when I purchased a Samsung SD card.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Cannot Write To SD Card (Operation Failed)

A couple of suggestions:

Did you format the card in the phone before trying to use it? If not, it may not want to work until you do.

SanDisk cards seem to have issues with Samsung devices. Not sure if it is a QA thing or a firmware incompatibility. Other brands, including Samsung, do not seem to have this problem.
