hi, i am going to buy Galaxy note 4 from UK sim free version i was thinking about region lock cox i am buying it to use in India so i called Samsung and they confirmed its region lock and will only b use in uk and they told me if u buy from somewhere else they will unlock perhaps i was ordering from carphone warehouse bt they told me they could not unlock the device so my Question is how can i make it work or where from i can unlock this device in Birmingham uk

My understanding is that you have to use it in the original region to make a phone call for at least 5 minutes

I got my phone vodaphone locked and using it on diff network, i used the website sim-unlock.net, cost about 19 dollar and had unlock code in 15 mins.

Just seeing this you are buying sim free, it shouldn't be locked then, when you visit India try it if doesn't work then unlock using the website.
