Remove an action note

I am really new to Samsung and having an issue removing an action note that I put on my home screen, I went and hit the discard but it stays on the screen...any ideas how to get it off there? Thanks

Is it the 'sticky' version that stays on your homescreen (and only in one of them) like a widget or the floating version that stays on top of any homescreen? If the first, you should be able to tap and hold it, then drag it to the DELETE button. If the second, then discarding the note should really get rid of that...

I had pined it to my homes screen and the tap and drag worked...coming over from the rotten apple.. it is a bit of a learning curve, but I'd never go back!! Thanks for the help
