Galaxy Note 4: Editing an animtated photo

I took some animated photos earlier and as it wasn't convenient to edit them exactly as I wanted, I saved them to gallery thinking that I could edit them when I got home.

I'm having trouble doing that though. When I select to edit the image, I just get the standard image editing options and I don't see any options to edit the animated areas of the photo. The video clip studio comes up with a message about unsupported files.

Is it possible to edit these files on the phone or will I need to download another app to do it?

Anyone...please? Would be gutting to lose what could be some amazing animated images as a result of not being able to edit after saving.
