Is there a way to disable the screen wake when undocking the s pen?

I know that I might not like it when I have that capability but I really don't want my phone to come on when I undock the s pen. Does anyone know if it is possible to disable it.

It didn't work for me either. I thought that would be the option for it.

Why are you taking the s-pen out if you aren't planning on using it? Serious question.
