Fast charging?

I have fast charging turned off. Why does it fast charge when the phone is turned off and plugged in? I plug it in and it says fast charging even though I have it disabled.

Plug the phone Into an older charger and see if it says that.

I have fast charging enabled but have it charging on an older charger right now and fast charging is grayed out . I believe it has to do with What kind of charger you have it hooked too. Someone else will verify this.

Correct, my Samsung supplied fast charger packed it in on Friday. Now using the S4 charger and "fast charge" is also grayed out but still ticked.

I gotta agree 100%. My daughters LGG3 fast charger got chewed up by a pitbull we were house sitting. So I gave her my N4 charger and after a week I have come to realize I need to buy a new fast charger. This is painfully slow!
