I ordered a Note 4 battery from Amazon, the packaging is the same the only difference is the number in the image are different.

In the original battery in the box, the has "5" and "05" instead of the 4 and "04" which are circled.
Cell is made in Japan, and assembled in China.

Would this be an issue for my phone?

Thanks

If it was sold by Amazon then you should be fine. If it was sold by a third party then probably fake

was technically Amazon on behalf of Global Zone.

Think that makes a difference?

I tried it, seems like a very slight tighter fit

No guarantees but imo, highly likely it is a fake

IMO, even the fakes work pretty good but just not same as oem. use it as a backup

Besides how well they work, keep in mind that should the battery explode, Samsung won't take responsibility. Granted it is highly unlikely to happen, but just something that one should be aware of.

im pretty sure the 2 i bought for my note2 were fakes. they didnt last as long, maybe 75% but they worked pretty well for an extra. they never exploded but i guess technically they could..... and NFC did work

I may be weird on this but I only buy batteries from the manufacturer. For 2 reasons, 1. NFC will work correctly, 2. IF the battery were to malfunction and destroy my phone, it is easier to get it taken care of. Batteries are cheap enough anyway.

I am almost sure, what you have it a CLONE, I prefer "clone" over "fake"...:D

I am using Caseolgy Note 4 batteries(clone), and some Samsung Fakes.. They all work.

I keep a spare battery, one in my car, one in whatever bag I am carrying, one at the office, and when I go on a trip I am packing two spare batteries and a charger.

IMO, the only way to get a true Samsung Battery is to get it straight from Samsung. Anything else, no matter where you get it from, most likely it is a clone, or fake, but they work.. At least the ones I use.. :)
