System Memory/Storage

For the past few weeks, I've noticed that the system memory used has been about 7 gigs. Is this normal? I'm pretty sure it's always been like that, but it just seemed excessive. Thanks for your time.

Mine is exactly the same - 7.82GB. That is normal for this device.

VZW variant is 8.64GB for system memory. Yikes.
