I have never been able to get it to work for me either. :( Hopefully someone will come up with a solution. It's startling (and very annoying) to view the web via my Note4 and android tablet vs my mac.

Root your phone and then install Adaway.

I rooted mine using CF Autoroot and it took longer to download (50 seconds) then it took to actually root the phone, simplest thing ever. Once I did that, Adaway configured itself and is blocking 99.9% of ads in apps and 100% in my browsers. I have one app where it can't block the ads in between posts but it does block the ads that they make you watch before each video. It also blocks YouTube ads.

This won't solve the problem completely but ghostery is a pretty good Web browser that blocks ads and tracking Spyware without the need for rooting.

I am in the process of making my Note 4 self aware.
