Yahoo Mail with stock email: how to resolve the Sign in Fail issue?

I have another issue with the stock email today. I have several Yahoo email accounts, and throughout today one by one I have been getting these notifications of failing to sign in, and requiring to change my passwords...but when I log onto the same emails via my laptop computer, no problem. See pic. My Gmail and Outlook emails are fine, no problem. Have my Yahoo Email account just been hacked or there's a sporadic issue with the stock email and Yahoo?

Update: everything is fine now, without needing to change passwords or do anything, just weird.

I am having the same problem - it just seems to cure itself but then re-occur.
Anyone found a long term fix?
