I've never used quick connect. But I use s finder a lot actually. I wish I had it in the drop down, but Verizon got rid of it.

To each their own.

I don't use either. Hope I can remove it with the next update or next phone.

Never used it on my s5 and Im not using it now. Might be because I have no idea what it is and I never found out what it does. 😂😂

I have Verizon. S Finder is in the Notification drop down. If you don't see it, use two fingers to pull the Notification bar down.

I wish I could remove that and S Finder from the notification drop down. That a nice piece of real estate

You can remove Quick Connect and S Finder from the Notification bar drop down.

1. Swipe down with two fingers.
2. Click the pencil icon.
3. Drag and drop the Quick Connect and S Finder buttons from the top half to the lower half.

Done.

You can rearrange the order of the 10 buttons too. Just long-press, drag to where you want it, and it swaps positions with the one you drop it on.

My screen is different.. (My Note 4 is from Rogers in Canada and running Kit Kat 4.4.4). I don't have S Finder and Quick Connect in my regular 'pull down' buttons. Instead there are a pair of large wide buttons below the small ones (as below). I've never been able to find a way to delete them. I never use either one.

Yes! ... That's exactly how mine is and why I started the thread. Really wish I could remove them

Same here. Never used yet. So I would like to have a button in the top button list and not occupy my notification area.

Ah! Now I see what you are referring to. Yes, that would be very annoying, a big waste of space. Here's what my normal notification screen looks like.
