Any function on the Note 4 to get out of a group message?

I don't mind group texts for the initial purpose, but then I want it to end. Deleting the message doesn't stop it. Any tips?

Unless you blacklist the originating number altogether, there's no way to opt out.

Yup, unfortunately SMS/MMS are just like phone calls. Unless you block the number, there's no way to stop receiving them permanently or temporarily.

SpookDroid is correct unfortunately. Personally I despise group texting beyond a very close/small group of family. Even then I only tolerate it for a short time and still end up wanting to say "Unsubsribe!" "Unsubsribe!". Worst case was like last week where I got some random spam group text where a lot of the knuckleheads on it responded with "Who is this?" resulting in 20+ extra texts! Ugh...

Edit: the only other thing I'm aware of is blocking texts via email and websites (ex. via a setting when signed into your Verizon account). Then only texts sent directly from other mobile devices are allowed.

What setting are you referring to id like to access it.

I use textra and it gives you the option to mute notifications for the text conversation.

It all depends on the sender and if they unchecked group conversation, it drives me nuts too, esp around holidays!!!!
