Viewing Pictures After Using Camera Slow

After I take a picture and tap the small thumbnail it shows to view the picture takes a long time to open. I have to go to gallery and view it there. Any thoughts?

are you using an SD card to save your pictures to? this could be what is causing the slight delay

Mine is, also. Unfortunately is also slow after the Sprint lollipop update, so no improvement coming.

Agreed it's the only issue I have as well. Takes around 5-10 seconds after snapping a shot to be able to view it in the gallery once I tap it. Anyone use an app other than the default camera app? Kinda annoying.

I used the SD card before the update and it was never this slow. Kinda ridiculous.

I've had this issue with the Note 4 since I got it - as soon as a few photo's are saved in the card, it takes about 5 seconds to load the picture. I had the issue on KitKat and it had the issue on Lollipop.
