Need help.

Is there a way I can change my text tones for each of my kids? I know I can change each ring tone. Yes I'm using the default text message app.
And I have the Samsung Note 4. Thanks for your help.

I don't think you can with the stock app (or most SMS apps), but someone might have written one that can. It's certainly not impossible to write one that would do it.

Thank you, I was using the Google messaging app, and it does let you change each text tone but it wasn't always sending my messages.

You sure can.
Open the contact you want
Click Edit (button beside the star at the top)
Then scroll to the bottom.
Click add another field, then choose message tone.
Once that field is added, select the tone you want
