Smaller font size = better/smoother performance ?

I noticed couple times before that w/e i reduce the font size to tiny or extra small most apps show smoother performance always 30+ FPS.

One of the apps called Appygeek which has orb type of menu to scroll through. It works below 30 FPS on my note 4 but when i change the font size, the animation become much smoother with no lag.

Give it a shot and report back if you see any difference .

I would imagine going to a smaller font would make the GPU and CPU work less because of the lesser detail. Ill give it a try on my S6 and see what happens.

The S6 is already blazing fast. I don't think the CPU sweat at all.

Yeah it seems to be flying along, I am just waiting on some custom ROM's to drop to make it even faster.

No, I will be using a custom stock ROM that is modified usually for better battery and speed.
