So I wanted to downgrade from Lollipoppy to Kitkat, I put my phone in the download mode and started Odin 3.10 and made sure only Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time is checked then I ticked the AP button and selected the firmware for my phone / country:

N910CXXU1AOA2_N910COJV1AOA2_N910CXXU1ANL3_HOME.tar.md5

The system image was flashed successfully then it kept rebooting / connecting / disconnecting for ever

so then I downloaded ODIN 3.09 as per the guide I read online just to be sure I am doing everything by the book and I wiped my cache partition before trying again.....

now I get to a farther stage as you see from the log but in the end it keeps rebooting over and over again..... please help

Re: Help Note 4 stuck in an endless reboot ODIN1

Here is how I fixed it:

after seeing the endless reboots...... I disconnected the device from the USB and removed the battery.....

then I started into the recovery mode by pressing the home key plus volume up plus power...

I then cleared all user data

then wipe cache partition

then reboot system

voila, I am booted into my Kit Kat!

This Odin sucks as it never tells you to disconnect your device after the flash is done and it keeps rebooting it endlessly! never touching this crap again!

Kit Kit FTW

Same thing happened to me. Downgraded because xposed works so well with KK. Cleared cache and factory reset and all is well.

Re: Help Note 4 stuck in an endless reboot ODIN1

Hi BullGuard8,

Can you explain how to clear user data and wipe cache partition in recovery mode? When I start my phone in recovery mode, I have the option to install a new operating system (volume up) or cancel (volume down). I hit the volume up button and it takes me to the screen with the green android guy and says "downloading....Do not turn off target" Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
