Need to Format MicroSD card?

I have lots of apps on my Note 4 SD Card, and am going to upgrade from a 32 to a 64gig Card.
Should I manually move every app to the device storage first, install the new card, and then move those apps to the 64gig card, or is there a faster way to do it?

Update:
I ordered a 64gig MicroSD Card.
However, the rep at the AT&T Store told me that formatting the SD Card for the Samsung Note 4 is not necessary, just pop it into the phone and use it.
I'm getting conflicting opinions about whether I have to format the card to fat32, opinions?

Re: Installing a new SD Card in the Note 4?

That is how I have done it in the past.

I would copy from the old to the new on a computer and just stick it in. Long as the new is formatted FAT32.
