How can I get my BBC iPlayer working on my Samsung Note 4?

Bbc iplayer not working on Samsung note 4.

Bbc iplayer recently stopped working on my Samsung note 4. The 'progress bar' shows at the bottom of the screen but there's no picture/sound. I've tried re-installing the iplayer app and the bbc media app. I have also got the latest Samsung update. I don't know what else to do. Can anyone help please?!

Welcome to Android Central! Go to the App Manager, select those apps, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now try again.

BBC iPlayer issues tend to crop up on these forums with some regularity, so I wonder if it's just prone to incompatibility or glitches, especially when system updates start rolling out.
