How can I get my emails to open in Desktop View?

Sorry, can you clarify--are you trying to get the Gmail website to open to the desktop version on the browser (as opposed to the mobile version)?

Yes that is correct .

Not sure why you'd want to use the desktop version, but open chrome (or whatever browser you use), google.com, 3 dots, select request desktop site, open Gmail.

Good tip, but that actually might not work successfully on some devices or some browsers. I can't do that on my Nexus devices using Chrome--it always forces the mobile version.

No option in Google but there is one in Chrome but it only opens the site you are on. I would like the setting work automatically on all sites.
