Traveling to Mexico. ..... ixtapa/zihuatanejo actually....must have apps? Cell service?

As subject indicates....anyone been and broutht their note4 along? If am mostly for camera and video. It am on Verizon and added the Mexico plan for this trip.

Any recommendations on apps to bring al OK great as well?

I've used my Note 4 there, but it was T-Mobile hehe But I do have a work iPhone on Verizon and it worked. Not the greatest service if you're on the less crowded beaches or areas, but if you stick to the main city/beach, then you're OK. Also, not sure if your phone supports WiFi calling, but if it does, then just wait until you're in the hotel or go to a Starbucks or one of the many free WiFi spots around town for calls.

Definitely download Google Maps and 'offline' the area you'll be in in case you want to wander around and not get lost. Any apps like Skype or Hangouts to keep in touch with those back home when you have WiFi.
