Hello everyone,

I have a question for anyone who uses dropbox to automatically sync all pictures, videos, etc.
I never enable sync due to the fear that it will drain my battery fast on note 4. Although I upload all the data to dropbox but through my computer.
I would like to start using the Dropbox sync.
Can anyone please tell me how it would affect my note 4 battery ?

It depends, of course, on how much data you sync. Without knowing that it's impossible to make any guess about battery use.

All I can say is if, for example, you sync a few photos a day and maybe a few documents, that would use little power.

Android since v1.0. Linux since 2001

With drop box there isnt a true continuous sync like with Gmail.
With dropbox it will upload based on your settings of WiFi or Wifi/cellular.
Mine for example is set to upload with WiFi only. So anytime i take pics they sit on my phone till i connect to WiFi. THen bam it starts the sync process.
On the other side if you make changes on the desktop / cloud i noticed my phone updates those changes only when i am in the app. SO it appears to not be a continous sync but rather a forced sync when the app is running. And only for those changes made elsewhere.. Basically your phone is catching up to the changs you have made.
