How can I import Apple photos to my Note 4?

import to Apple's Photos

I am trying to get switched over to a Note 4 (from iPhone)and still use a Mac for photo storage...When I try to import or copy photos to the Photos app on my desktop, it will copy the pics over into the app no problem....it won't copy over the videos though...any reason why?..is it because the videos are mp4 format? If so, how do I switch it to record in a format acceptable to Photos?

I'm sorry, but yor post is a little confusing. Can you clarify the actual problem and also provide more info, such as the method you are using to try and transfer your files?

Why don't you transfer your iPhone photos to Dropbox on your iPhone, go to Note 4,download Dropbox, then download photos to Note 4 from Dropbox.
Just a thought.
