Smart Unlock Not Working

Hi,

Does anyone else have issues with the Smart Unlock not working on their Note 4.

I set it up fine to work with my Android Wear device but for some reason Samsung's own lock screen always overrides it.

I have a Nexus 6 and smart unlock works perfectly.

Any help on whether there is something I am missing or can do would be most appreciated.

Under what conditions is it failing? I know with my device I have to unlock it with the pasword at least once after it is initial connected to a trusted device/network for smart lock to work. I do not know if that's standard or because I have a secured lockscreen with encryption enabled though.
