My phone sometimes restart alone

Sometimes my phone restarta again and after that battery level is 20% less
What could be happening?

Maybe the battery is starting to fail. Have you already tried using a new one?

Try to clean with little alcohol th battery contacts

My phone did this first at 20% then at 40%. I called verizon as the phone was under 1 year and they replaced the battery which fixed the problem.

The other thing it could be is a kernel panic but it doesn't sound like that in this case.

Might need a new battery. They're relatively cheap on Amazon
