My ir led stopped working

My note 4 ir led stopped working a month ago i viewed it using *#0*# but it does not blink... i viewed it in a camera..my front camera and proximity/light sensors are working fine...is there a hardware or software problem???

Or is there any solution to problem? Please help

You will have to call them. Look locally at a phone repair shop. Maybe it just has a bad connection that has to be fixed.

I went to samsung franchise but they say that we cannot change bcz it is out of warranty..i went to a local shop but they say we haven't encountered such complaint from any customer so we haven't tried it..nobody has done it before

Proximity sensors,front camera and IR are on same chip..if its a chip malfunction then the other two shouldnt work...and is there any possible way that only the IR emitter has to be changed??
And has this repaired before only the emitter.?????

This is how front camera chip is showing IR and front camera..
Can the highlighted area be replaced only..I mean is it possible??

Or whole chip will be changed...expert opinion required here...

Maybe it is a software issue. A factory reset should fix it if it is software related
