If I Root my Note 4 will this affect the Knox "container"?

I am thinking about Rooting my N4 (Sprint) since it will not get anymore Software version updates (i.e. 7.0 Nougat), but I had a question to anyone that has rooted their N4 and was and still is able to use the Knox container(which allows you to use another section of the phone as a 2nd phone). I use the Knox container for my enterprise e-mails and I don't want to lose that. I know that it will trip the Knox counter and void my warranty, I don't care about that part, I am just concerned about the Knox container availability.

Also how does rooting affect the Security updates that are released almost monthly now, will I have to unroot every time there is a security update?

You can't update a rooted phone. At best, the update will fail at about 25%. At worst, the phone will be bricked. If you can't root the phone manually, don't depend on downloading something you have no source code for to do it for you - it may, or it may install viruses.
