Verizon Unlocked phone and Cricket

[AC Question]

Hello, I have an unlocked Verizon Note 4 with GSM unlocked. I want to know if this will work with Cricket. I thin I know that it will. However, what about the speed. I heard that it can never get LTE on cricket and only 3G. Can someone confirm.

The Verizon Note 4 has LTE bands 4 and 13. Cricket is an AT&T MVNO, so they would use any band AT&T uses - 2, 4, 5, and 12.

So *IF* you are lucky enough that AT&T uses Band 4 in your area, then the Verizon Note 4 will likely do just fine on Cricket over LTE. AT&T has 4 bands and often mixes them in a given area for coverage, so there's a solid chance that you'll have LTE about half the time.

If not, you are looking at HSPA. Thankfully all models of the Note 4 support both bands of HSPA and EDGE,and HSPA+ ain't so bad.
