My samsung galaxy note 4 dies at 92%-59%

I have a Samsung galaxy note 4 I've had it for about 2-3 years and I'll be listening to music heading to school with it just fully charged and it will be on 92% and dies will not turn back on until on charger once it is charged it will be on 0% than automatically goes to 88% and turns on than when I use it without charger it dies at either 69%, or 59%
My mom has gotten a new battery for it and still the same issue any help??

Welcome to Android Central! Is the replacement battery an official Samsung one, or from a 3rd party?

You can assume a 2-3 year old Li-ion battery is dead and won't hold charge.
